Cape Dorset is a small but vibrant community on the southwest coast of Baffin Island, in the Canadian Arctic territory of Nunavut. Known locally as “Kinngait” for the area’s high, rolling hills, the community is renowned for the wonderful Inuit prints produced in its cooperatively owned printmaking studios, now active for more than fifty years.
