Collection: Eva Kolacz

Eva Kolacz, a poet and contemporary painter originally from Poland, finds inspiration in the intricate interplay of the interior and exterior worlds. She explores how internal emotions and external realities influence and reflect each other through her use of color and composition. After coming to Canada, she continued in pursuing her passion in art and obtained a degree in Fine Arts at the Ontario College of Art and Design. Her artistic journey has led to global exhibitions, including a solo show at Vancouver's Kurbatoff Gallery in 2012. In 2019, Kolacz published her first poetry collection, “Whatever We Are,” to express voice in literary forms. Moreover, her works are included in the permanent collections of the Ontario government and major museums in Poland. As a member of the League of Canadian Poets and the Ontario Society of Artists, Kolacz continues to make significant contributions to both the literary and visual arts.
