Beech Serving/Charcuterie Board

A Hamilton woodworker and photographer, Chong finds himself preoccupied with salvaging and milling locally removed trees, taking something destined for the landfill and turning it into a beautiful serving tray or a piece of furniture. Chong works with red, black, and white oak, locust, maple, elm, black cherry, sycamore, and black walnut and draws inspiration from the wood itself: the unique shapes, colours, figures, and grains.
