In April of 2012 what began as my attempt to get to know Canada’s architecture turned into a ten-piece obsessively illustrated series of prints showing my adopted home city of Montreal, my old home town of Edmonton, and eight other Canadian cities during specific moments in their history. Montreal on the opening day of Expo ‘67? It’s there. Calgary on the opening day of the ‘88 Olympics? That too. Each print shows 50-125 specific landmarks and buildings, as well as a small square with title and historical date. Series includes Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, Hamilton, Montreal, Ottawa, Ville de Québec, Toronto, Vancouver, and Winnipeg.
