Hamilton based artist, Catherine Lackey, began Catmamola Ceramics after many years as a writer for a small designer toy company. In 2015, her creative path took an unexpected turn. She began experimenting with ceramics and soon began designing porcelain jewelry. It was a change that came with a great deal of fear and uncertainty, but what quickly emerged was a playful style totally antithetical to those feelings. Catherine strives to create work that is bright, bold and classic; porcelain jewelry you’ll want to wear every day. Promise.

 Each piece is sculpted and decorated by hand in Catherine’s home studio in Hamilton, Ontario. Her work has been featured in Chatelaine Magazine, Today’s Parent, and can be found in stores across Canada.
